  2. Start-up Units: The opposite of bureaucratic units, they’re high on dynamism but low in stability. They lack discipline and systemic execution, which can be overcome through creating a solid backbone from stability practices.
  3. Trapped Units: These units lack in both fields, where they lack a stable backbone of actionable strategic goals, and an entrepreneurial drive, in addition to dynamic elements such as continuous learning and rapid iteration and experimentation of new ideas.

The rapidly changing market favors the agile, with only these businesses taking the lead in their industries.
