It's been a real pleasure working with the CID team. We're very appreciative to the team's efforts, and for allowing us to lean on CID's expertise over the course of the past few months. I have to also say you have been incredibly great listeners and thought-partners; two qualities which I believe added a lot of value to the conversations we've had.

Partnering with CID on gender mainstreaming has been a genuine learning journey for our Foundation. CID helped us kickstart a crosscutting theme our 2023-2028 strategy identified as critical, adding a much-needed gender lens through foundation-wide capacity building and close partnership on our gender strategy. Gender is now part of our project cycle, our implementing partners are engaging with it, and we are reviewing our internal policies through the same lens. What set CID apart was their professionalism and flexibility. They met us where we were and empowered our team, leaving us with tools and a mindset that will outlast the project.

We worked closely with CID on the Community Engagement Plan for our Lazoghly Complex in Downtown Cairo, and it was a very positive experience. From project initiation, the team showed a strong understanding of the local context and the importance of engaging thoughtfully with the surrounding community in such a unique and historic area. The CID team’s communication was clear, efficient, and easy to work with, keeping us fully updated throughout the process. Their reporting was equally strong. CID brought a knowledgeable, committed, and approachable team to the project.

It has been a pleasure working with the CID team on the development of a strategic communication
plan for the education reform program. They have delivered outstanding work, from the situational
assessment to the implementation plan, showcasing a deep understanding of the education ecosystem and of our needs. Throughout the assignment, they have been a knowledgeable, reliable and supportive consultant, and, through their innovative approaches, have managed to deliver truly actionable and impact-centered recommendations to the Ministry of Education which will greatly support the reform journey

A quick note before my last day tomorrow to thank you all for the great support and advice you have given to me and the business since we entered Egypt. It’s added great value to our decision-making, from your understanding of the political dimension, to how issues will be perceived ‘on the street’. You have covered all the angles! You are a great team, and I will very much miss working with you all. Hopefully we will get the chance to work together again in the future. I know that Diana is very much looking forward to working with you, looking ahead. Meantime, keep doing what you do.

Yesterday we successfully delivered a truck to the NGO in Sharkia as part of the 2022 social impact project, continuing our commitment to community support in partnership with the NGO.
We are relying on the Sharkia team to follow up with the NGO and ensure regular quarterly reports, and we remain available for any needed support.

I have a positive experience working with CID for the last four years in the frame of a consortium between GFA Consulting Group and CID; implementing one component for the GIZ Labour Market Access Project to help improve the quality of employment in small and medium enterprises. All the proposed experts are professional and competent experts who work in a variety of technical and capacity building related fields such as strategic planning, organizational development, marketing and branding, facilitation and trainings.
